Love, Sex & Hate

I wrote a poem about this and ironically my in-production-novel is titled this same title. Love, Sex, and Hate. This is all the world yearns to hear about, talk about and thrive on. Its unfortunate that I have had to write on this several times, but maybe it does get under my skin.

Being a poet first, I have been to several venues and presented my work to hundreds of people. Unsurprisingly, the drama filled, sex biting pieces were the ones that everyone wanted to read the most. People also love to hear about the pain you've encountered, but thats another blog.

Love, and its turmoil, Sex and its drama and Hate and its darkness, our society feeds off of those three words. Poetry isn't good unless you curse your ex out, talk about the passion you explored, or the love that once existed. So, I take my hat off to those who like to hear about rain, crops, dogs and the color orange.
